I guess I'd have to say that I don't really appreciate your question- it is phrased rather negatively and assumes that WLS is a bad school- which I take issue with. All of my children have attended WLS, and my oldest is in his 3rd AP class in high school, which he was well prepared for due to his elementary education.
Teacher turnover? Well, first, all schools have turnover, and WLS does not have a higher rate- I have taught in public schools where teachers come and go all the time. And what is the reason for the turn over? Moving? Maternity? Want to stay home with young children? All of those have been reasons why WLS teachers have left over the last nine years. And lets look at test scores...they stay fairly even with the encompassing district, 112, who has very happily sponsored WLS for the last 15 years. Incidents that have happened at the school? I'd like to see some documentation- notice your responder did not leave any specifics. A concussion on the playground, ok, but find me a school where no child has never been hurt while playing. As far as an incident with a teacher and a student- notice your responder is only hinting at things and won't be clear- that is because her statement is a fabrication. Meet the teachers- there has never been a more devoted and ethical group of educators, who almost all hold Masters in Education. Since my family has been a part of WLS, the school has grown from 90 students to over 180- would all those parents put their children there if it was not a worthy school? Would there be a waiting list? Would WLS receive over 150,000 in grants if their test scores were lacking? Malicious rumors are not fact. If you are interested in finding out what kind of school WLS is, then I suggest you visit it and see for your self.

Cameron Piper answered:

You might be better served if you contacted the school directly.

I was hoping that someone might hop in here with an answer for you but alas it doesn't seem as though anyone knows.

Good Luck.
