Not in my house in Chapel Hill. I've had several people in my crawl space, most recently last year. They've all commented to me how clean and dry my crawl space it.

There are 4 for sale and 2 have been on the market for a while; some remodeling has been done. One is an estate sale (death) and the last one is an investment opportunity, needing ";TLC". Other than slow market conditions, I see no particular trend in forcing people to sell in this area. (317) 529-4178 if you'd like to see any of these homes. ... more

Wow! I cannot believe this question was overlooked by us because it is an easy one to answer.
YES, it is a great place for seniors. There are neighborhoods and communities that are focused on senior living, golf course communities, senior activities and most importantly a diverse group of people outside of the senior community. Perhaps you may or may not have heard of Fearrington Village, Meadowmont or Carolina Meadows, just to name a few. If you are not inclined to live in a neighborhood focused on retirees, you will have many other wonderful options.
If you are still considering making the move I would be happy to send you a relocation package with the information you are looking for.
My apologies that you were overlooked for so long.

If you have a repair that will be extensive or costly, having a second piece of docmentation will assist you in your negotiations. Any additional info you can submit about the source of the esitmates will also lend to the credbility and strength of your negotiations, be it a contractor brochure, one paragraph write up, pictures, etc. ... more

There are 47 homes in inventory at The Preserve at this time. There have been 29 sold this year with an average sale price of $663,400. The average days on market is 148. This is with a market that is down 11%. In this price range, this is not a shabby record. These figures are taken from data from the Tarreport. I hope this has helped answer your question. ... more
