Arnaldo,

You might want to look at the Holly Hall and City Place Town Homes. Those properties feature 2 car garages and lease starting at $1,300/month. Nice communities with 24hr manned entries, pools, extra guest parking, nice landscaping and more.

Let us know if we can assist you.

Ali,

Phone number area code? There are currently 3 area codes covering most of Houston. 713, 832 and 281 with a forth on the way.

Now if your referring to the Houston Realtor's MLS grid, that could be many different areas. Maybe give us some general boundaries by major streets or highways, then we can tell you which grids to pick when your doing your searches. Better yet, let us know set up a customized search with a private web portal for you and your family to use. No cost! Let us know if you would be interested.

Yes, overall Pasadena is considered one of the better neighborhoods to live in. Though the commute can take some time from the medical center area.

As Realtors, we can't comment on whether is area is "safe." Here's a link to the crime statistics for Zip Code 77099, where the property is located.

http://houstoncrimemaps.com/zip/77099/

I suggest that you drive through the area at several times of day, and actually speak with folks who live there. Believe me, they'll want to tell you everything, good bad or ugly. It's the best information you can get.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me at (713) 213-6350 or ... al@algeffon.com .... I look forward to hearing from you.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

I personally don't like this idea. In my experience few people end up buying. This presents a problem as your contract normally obligates you to buy and puts your down payment at risk if you don't. If you want to rent --then do it, RENT. If you want to buy, then BUY, but don't mix the two. We've recently taken steps in Texas to prohibit these types of transactions. There are still people advertising such schemes and think they have a way around it, but the intent and content of the law is clear-NO RENT TO OWN. There's a reason for the law and that is that there were too many bad guys out there taking people's money in a lot of different ways. As a person wanting to rent you put yourself at some risk agreeing to these transactions. ... more
