This smacks of a common rental scam. Be careful that you don't lose your money on one of these deals. Do your homework and check to make sure the landlord is the true owner. You can also work with a property manager to help in the process. Check with Edge Property Management.

This unit has 2 spaces in the parking garage. If this is a typical development for this area, It is very rare to find the 3-car gar garage spaces available. And in a development like this it would probably be the largest and more expensive units or the penthouse type units that might have these accomodations. Sometimes there is a way to purchase or rent an 'extra' space from another owner. If so, make sure it is done through a real estate attorney.

I would contact the Clerk and Recorder's Office for help. If you are wondering about making another purchase, it is usually a 2 year window after bankruptcy, and a 3 year window after foreclosure.
