I've represented some sports celebrities in the past, and I've always recommended that they "disappear" during open houses. The goal is to sell the home, not to have an autograph session. Most Realtors (myself included) don't like to name drop because of privacy issues. We're hired to do a job for a client; whether that client is famous or not generally doesn't make a difference (except that some celebrities can be difficult because of their status). Personally, I would rather represent average homeowners because they tend to be more thankful when I provide great service, and are more likely to refer me future business.
