To answer your question directly, yes. There are several what we call "hobby farms" available, if you'd like to search Ozaukee, I'd suggest going just a bit north or north west of Cedarburg. If you'd prefer Washington county, you could possibly find something along the 45/41 corridor in the small towns of Polk, Allenton, Germantown or Richfield... depending how close to or far from metro commute you'd like to be. There's also "Dodge" county if you're interested in lower pricing and remote areas.
What type of farming will you be doing? Organic farming is becoming very popular and Realtors sometimes don't know the difference between organic and working farms. I happen to be a farm girl and have sold everything from 140 acre working farms with livestock to the smaller hobby farms with only a couple acrres.
When you say "older" I think of my most recent sale, actually in Mequon with a huge barn. Here's the link: http://www.Obeo.com/630134 Is this type something of interest? I guess you'll have to let me know your criteria and price range for me to help you further. My website will give you more information about me and contact information. I've listed it below, but here is is again, www.remaxrenae.com
