You need to know that HUDs and Foreclosures are sold "as is". However the bank will possibly do some minimal repairs to make the home "functional" but do not expect much. Also, these homes go to the highest bidder and a loan will only cover the appraised amount. If you choose to bid over the appraised amount and you have a loan you would have to do so out of your own pocket aside from your loan amount. ... more

There is a program that I use that provides 10,000 towards your down payment and closing costs. It is a zero interest and zero payment loan that is only due when/if you sell the home. I have closed using this program several times and would be happy to assist you.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS

1-Must not have owned a home in 3 years.
2-Must have been in the same line of work for 2 years
3-Must make more than 25k but less than 80k
4-Must have 1,000 to put into the deal.
5-640 minimum credit score.

Hi Sonia,

It depends on the loan program and how the rest of the profile looks. If you have re-established credit and decent scores it maybe possible. The toughest part will be trying to get approved with no money down unless you have VA entitlement in which case VA only requires 2 years from the foreclosure to be eligible so it wouldn't even be an exception.
