According to the Trulia listing, this house is not in liveable condition (no kitchen or bathrooms) so would not qualify for conventional or VA. What you would need here is a 203K loan which combines a construction loan with the mortgage, Not all lenders offer this,so you would need to do some research to find one in your area that does. We did a lot of those here after Katrina. ... more

Melissa Kesner answered:
Hi Eric

I live in Catonsville and even the neighborhoods with strict covenants usually allow fences; nonetheless it does depend on the particular neighborhood and if there is an association as part of it. Nothing in the listing states a restriction of that type, but I would be happy to look into it if you would like. Is there any other neighborhoods in the Catonsville area you are interested in? Let me know if you would like more information.

Thanks and enjoy this beautiful day
