Hello Westsail43, are you speaking of the results from Trulia? You could also call the local police department for instruction access of their statistics as well. These links may assist you with crime statistics:

Are you in the market to buy and have an agent and loan pre-approval to get out shopping and writing offers on any homes of your choice.

You may consider 5% down Jumbo with a minimum 720 fico score from 424k up to 1.5 million and 10% down from a minimum 680 fico score and up to 3 million. You will need 20% down to purchase over 3 million.

Do you have down payment and closing costs or do you need down payment and closing cost assistance programs? You may qualify for down payment and closing cost assistance up to 600k sales price from a minimum 640 fico score.

Nympoon, The best way to check the crime rate in a given neighborhood is to check the stats on the state police website.

Hi Os,

I lived in Five Canyons for 6 years in Whispering Oaks on Crestfield Dr. Our house was built in the last phase by Centex. I have been selling homes in Five Canyons and Palomares Hills for a long time.

Please click on the following link to see all the home I have sold in these two areas:

There are some homes in Abbeywood, Creekside and Whispering Oaks that are close to the power lines and will sell for less than the homes away from the power lines. As far as real health issues, there has been a lot of research that has been done but there is no for sure answer.

If I have a listing close to the power lines, it will take a lot longer to sell than on the other side. Buyers strongly belive that they are not good for their health. I have a huge package of research documents by PG&E on power lines and if you would like to have a copy, please call me at 510-279-9580.

At this time I have a beautiful house listed at 25558 Crestfield Dr in whispering oaks development of Five Canyons. It is not close to the power lines and is the largest floor plan(3,526 sq ft). It is listed for $949,999. We just reduced it today by $200K from the original listed price of $1,150,000.

Here is the link to the virtual tour on this property:

I would love to help you find a home in Five Canyons since it is the area I specialize in. Please call me at 510-279-9580
