Canyon Lake, CA is a wonderful city full of many amenities. We are centrally located between San Diego, LA and Orange County. Many do commute to work to these areas.
Canyon Lake started more as a vacation home destination and is converting in to younger families with kids. Canyon Lake still has a healthy amount of vacation homes as Canyon Lake is considered a resort, offering watersports, beaches, golf, tennis, parks, volleyball, Lodge with bar & grill and The Country Club. Also many clubs and activities year round.
Our surrounding areas are growing rapidly with newer Malls, Shopping Centers, Sports Parks, Schools & Restaurants. New freeway ramps are scheduled to be added later this year off the 215 allowing traffic to flow better in Menifee and Murrieta. Wildomar has been approved for 1000 new homes and will be priced around the $325,000 range. Many homes have been built in Menifee over the last few years. Many new medical offices have been approved around the NEW Loma Linda Hospital off the 215 freeway paving the way for growth in our area. Wildomar and Temecula have plans on larger corporate complexes. Off of Clinton Keith I see some of the corporate complexes with concrete already poured.
As for your question, very few homes in Canyon Lake have Propane for a gas range and heating. Most just have electric. Any property can convert to propane.
The market is now strong again with very few homes in distress. I'm finding a jump in prices over the last few months.
