If your parents helped you get your mortgage, you will have to refinance to remove them. Once you have done that, they will no longer appear with you as owners of record.

Yes, You could own your own house for probably less than the amount you just stated!! The average person sells their home every 5 years! Don't worry about that!

Check the house located in 518 9th Street NE Canton Ohio 44704, I think that the owner wants to sell it for $5,200.00 (that's how much he paid for it. The children are refusing to move from San Jose CA, to anywhere in the north east of the US, can anyone blame them? The house is only 3 Bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, a basement, an attic. ... more

Just in a few recent months, in the range of homes from 80K to 125K, there have been 162 sold, 37 are pending, 2 are contingent and 124 are active. This is within 5 mi. of the center of Canton, Ohio.
The numbers about double if you lower the bottom range to 40K except the number of active homes
goes to 345. Did you have your home listed with Keller Williams Legacy Group of Canton? I feel confident that if you had, your home would have received the best marketing and chance to sell. Let me know if you would like to give it another try. I could help you with ideas on making your home ready to show. Also, I could let you know what to do and what not to do. Thank you, Jeff 330-603-0259

Hi, it's best if you can get your scores up however, there are loans for scores down to 530 credit score. You'd have to meet some pretty specific guidelines and have cash reserves after closing. I will tell you with a score less than 580, you'd need 10% down and up to 6 months reserves (monthly mortgage payments in the bank after closing). You can get a gift for the down payment however the reserves would need to be your own funds. Beyond that we're looking for someone who hasn't had any late payments, no new collections, charge-offs nor judgments in the last 12 months. There are also guidelines as to the aggregate total that's allowable for what collections etc you're allowed to have open/unpaid. You can visit my profile, then click to see my facebook page. Once there, scroll to see what those collection requirements are. It was a post from Oct 2013. If you're interested in raising your credit scores it would reduce the down payment and opens up options for you for less cost and a better rate. Let me know if you're interested in learning more and I can provide some add'l ideas. Best wishes otherwise, Kimberly Lawson, Mortgage Loan Originator - Ohio only. Contact and licensing information can be found on my profile. ... more

I would try Westfield Bank. Julie Vega is a great loan officer and she can be reached at 330.492.7230. You may also try Premier Bank & Trust in Canton. They are known to do loans that most large banks will not. Call me with questions and good luck!
