Understand that ANYONE can post a rental. Trulia is only displaying 3rd party info, and there are ways for scammers to post fake listings on other websites which then get mirrored on trulia, zillow, realtor, etx.. Hi, Eric:

Not sure what the particular attraction of Lyford Pond in Canterbury is for you. This is a 23 acre mesotrophic class pond with an average depth of about 4 feet (1.4 meters) and a maximum depth of 2.7 meters (about 10 feet).

The last sale there was in March 2012 a 1950 log home on 4.4 acres with 1,360 sf of living space that sold in 23 days for $158,000, very close to asking price. Prior to that there have been no sales for six years.

There are a number of smaller waterbodies in the Lakes Region of NH that are equal or greater in size that offer more recreational opportunities.

Let me know how I can help you find something that meets your wants and needs.

Warm Regards, Chuck Braxton, REALTOR 603/677-2154
