The 2 most common down payment assistance grants in Ohio are with the Ohio Housing Financing agency and The Communities First Grant program. In order to get started you will need to apply for purchase financing with an authorized lender like myself. You will be qualified for financing as well as the grant program options. I am happy to go over all these options with you.

YES, you can simply call local agents and ask what they charge, most important, ask what you will get for what you may pay. Discount fees often equal discount services.

How is that you can do a "title search"? Are you just looking at the county's public records?? When you buy a home, you'll want to hire a title company and pay for title insurance. (In CO this is normally paid by the seller, not sure what it's like in OH). The title company will find any liens on the property. These have to be paid, and title cleared in order for you to close on it. If the property is going to be listed in MLS, you can hire a Realtor as your Buyer's Agent. He/she can walk you through the process. (The buyer's agent will get paid by the seller/listing brokerage). Keep in mind that if it's going to auction, you probably have to pay cash. ... more

What do the agents involved say?? Nobody here is familiar with you contract. Are you the buyer or seller? Do you want the deal to go through, or do you want out? When you mention "judge" and "injunction" that tells me you need to talk to an ATTORNEY. If it gets to that point. But again, nobody here has a clue what's going on, what your contract says, or what the parties involved are doing, want to do, etc. ... more
