Stay away from Saw Creek. I have lived here for 28 years. The last 12 have been pure hell. I would move tomorrow but I can't sell the house. I know I have to take a lost but 80,000.00 is far to much to lose. The Board Of Directors don't give a darn about the home owners. They do exactly what they want to do. You go to a board meeting and ask a question. You have only 3 minutes. But if you are loyal to them you can continue to talk until you turn blue. Crime is high in here and they never let you know what is going on. My husband and I are banned from asking any questions at all because we asked about the budget 12 years ago. My husband was in the military and served our country. Not one of the board has done so. ... more

If you are selling by owner, your best method is to advertise on every website that has real estate listings. You should also Google "flat fee brokers" for your area. This allows you to have your listing in the MLS system for a flat fee + a required buyers broker commission but you are still selling by owner - you are in control for deadlines, negotiations, contracts, disclosures, marketing, etc.

Buyers in FL who are looking for a home in PA will most likely use a realtor IN PA to email them listings, schedule showings and most importantly - give them comps (similar homes to your house that have recently sold and under contract in the same neighborhood as your home). If your home is not in your local MLS system, expect realtors to tell buyers that your home is NOT for sale. Realtors will only show buyers available homes for sale that are in your local MLS system.

So exactly how will you capture Florida residents attention advertising your home for sale?

This is a selling tactic and yes, legal. Some sellers will list under market value to inspire a bidding war where it can sell over market value. It is easier to ask a price you want to sell it for though ... more

You can determine the value of your property by clicking the "Get my home value" link located at the upper part of your property page. If you're looking for a precise value for your home, we recommend you talk to a real estate professional.

We are a real estate search engine so we don't represent the homes found on our site. Please follow these steps to begin your home search:

1. Click the 'Buy' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Select your preferred property type, square footage, allowed pets, etc.
5. Click the orange 'Done' button.

This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a listing, click on the "Request Viewing" button. You can also take advantage of our vast network of agents here:

We hope your experience with Trulia is memorable and thank you for using Trulia for all your real estate needs.

in Saw Creek Estates, we've had a number of burglaries, but it was determined to be teenagers who were breaking into homes that were empty (owners were vacationing, home is vacation or rental). One of the teenagers was turned over to State Police by their parents. I have not heard of any robberies or burglaries by "professional" theives. ... more
