Rent to own is really not a good idea, therefore consider fixing whatever is preventing you from purchasing outright. Rent to own can be risky and one could stand to lose a bit of money, therefore do inform yourself well, and consider consulting with an attorney who specializes in real estate beforehand. If you haven't done so yet, visit with any licensed loan officer, see if you can buy outright, or simply continue renting until a purchase can be made. ... more

Hello,
I can help you find a rental that is not too far from McGuire. I see that you are located in Mount Laurel now. I'd suggest that if you feel that the Mount Laurel commute is too far that you look into New Hanover Twp or even Wrightstown which are both closer. If I can assist you please call, text or email me at anytime.

Hi Jerzfinest04,
As I am trying to reply directly to your answer I am unable to. There is no reply submission button like there is for Barbara Smith who also replied to me. Here is what I wanted to say:

Hi renter! I'm shocked you haven't had a response from people listing houses on here. I can imagine that it is super frustrating. Maybe there is something wrong with the system. I had my first inquiry two days ago but since i replied, nothing in return. It seems odd to me. I hope you have found your house to rent.

Best wishes,
Brie Messier

Thanks to everyone for their input. I took your advice and got references from friends, co workers a past landlord and even my supervisor. I also had my girlfriend do the same. I also used a realtor (thanks again Laura) from here to help with the search. I got pro active and did some of my own shopping and was surprised by how many private owners and companies were renting out their properties. I was fortunate to find an amazing house that's only thirteen years old with all the trimmings. Great advice people and thanks again! ... more

It is usually just the first month's rent. An agent may try to tie in another if the lease is renewed but it usually gets crossed of by the landlord. They may also insert a finder's fee if you end up buying that home but the commission would be paid by the Seller. Bets of luck to you. ... more

Exposure is definitely what you need to get a quick rental in the door. If you are planning to rent on your own without a realtor, please exercise caution. Make sure to run a credit check and get some employment verification. As realtors, we are able to scrutinize the market of renters for you. So, if you are willing to undertake that risk, make sure to undertake some precautionary measures as well. Good luck to you! ... more
