Hello! I currently live in NJ and will be moving to Los Angeles, CA next month for work. I'm having difficulty finding a 1BR apartment within my budget. I've found some places that fit what I'm looking for, but the contact doesn't always provide complete information or doesn't seem trustworthy. I'm thinking of reaching out to a rental agent but am not sure what kind of fees that would entail. ... more

It may be but if so, it is not listed with a Realtor. I suggest checking if there is a sign in front with a phone number on it.

Good luck.

Hello Sam,

As some of the other agents indicated there are number of great locations in the area. It is difficult to point out just one without some additional details such as proximity to work, etc. If your going to be here for a good period of time you may consider renting until you get a good feel for the area. I would be happy to help you coordinate and simplify your transition. If your interested please don't hesitate to let me know. ... more

Cathy Barton answered:
Would you like to live next to the airport? You need to look at the rents currently and then all the operating costs and see if it is a good investment. Look around at the rents current in the area are they comperable, more, less? Don't plan on upping the rentals if they are comperable or higher in the area. Maybe it is a good buy because of the Airport therefore not being such a good buy afterall. ... more
