Huge is subjective. Exact square footage would be helpful in determining price. In your question you said it was a 3-4 bedroom home. Which is it 3 or 4? The size of all bedrooms (expressed with actual numbers) would also help in determining a value.

As a native of the area, I know the neighbourhood around ECMC on the east side is NOT best area. I suspect you would know this if you lived in the area. If you happen to get $1175 for rent you will either have foreign students who, like yourself do NOT know the area or criminals. Judging by the date of your original post, if you did NOT follow the advice of the agents and others you have learned the hard way.

You will want to read your modification documentation. I dont know if it will address you having to continue owner occupying the property. In most residential mortgages it does require you to owner occupy the property however most just do anyway.

you will have to judge what yours reads and what is right for your situation.

good luck with working things out

You should contact a lawyer. Try the Erie County Bar Association who can refer you to a lawyer in your price range.
