When you say "I want to buy a house" I am assuming that you already have save enough money a down payment and closing costs. Is that is the case you are ready to shop around for a mortgage broker that can review your financial status and advice you properly. It's easy to buy a house if you know how much you can afford.

Best of Luck,

Mr. and Mrs. Cabler,

I've been to this house. Not to hurt feelings or burst a bubble, but the foundation has settled on 4 corners and will need extensive repair. The brick is pulling away from the wall and pulling the windows outward. Otherwise a nice neighborhood. Appears to be a flood zone. There is a flood guage in the front yard at the power pole.

It's a repossession house that needs alot of T.L.C. inside and outside. Dog pen in the back, with large back yard.

Though you should know, Best of luck.

Since no specific area is given--for the nearest hospital consider a Google search and Google Maps for distance. For flood zones see link, When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

As long as your payment posted on the 31st it would not count as a 30 day late. If you sent in two separate payments or checks the regular payment needs to include your late fee.

I would call your lender ASAP to discuss and make sure everything was accounted for correctly and also make sure that the payment was received on the 31st. ... more

It should not be a conflict of interest unless it was the agents listing and he was trying to represent you also as the buyer. However you should know in Texas that is perfectly legal to represent both sides of a sale. Personally I won't do it for ethical reasons, but it is allowed in Texas. Please note that in Texas the Seller pays the fee for both the listing agent and the Buyers Agent. You the Buyer should never pay a fee for representation! If you have more questions or need anything else, please feel free to contact me. Have a great day!

Hi Judy,

Trulia does not include rental listings in our search results at this time - only residential homes for sale. Many who answer similar questions often recommend searching on Craigslist for rentals.

Hello Gaye, Here is the link where you can look up the taxes per residence.

The sales price of homes in Texas is not published because Texas is a non-disclosure price. Do NOT use Zillow because their range is very innacurate in Texas because of this. They get their data based on the homes that are listed and what mortgage amount that are recorded NOT what they sold for. I have seen difference in their "zestimate" being off from 40K to 200K... that is a pretty large range.

My advice to you is to get a Realtor to represent you, they will be doing a market analysis on any home that interests you. This information will include SOLD homes in the same neighborhood with similar features as the homes you are considering.

It is a great time to buy, good luck to you. If you need help finding a Realtor, if there isn't one in this forum, I will be happy to find you one.
