Yes it is still for sale and in Tessman Farms which is a pretty cool new development up in Brooklyn Park. You will want to make sure you are pre-approved first (if you have not already done that) to make sure everything is lined up. The good news is it already has been completed so you don't have to wait for construction.

Let me know if I can help out!

Contact the listing agent... if a property is listed, the owner has given responsibility to his or her agent to take care of all aspects of the property during the marketing period. I wish you well. Remember, an agent of your own, a buyer's agent, is a good help for you, too. An agent costs you nothing, brings you the best information, negotiation skills, statistics, price and value ideas...think about it! Liz, 6122-986-4105 ... more

Trulia's computers pick information from RealtyTrac. RealtyTrac computers pick up foreclosure lender transactions. Most homes like this won't be on the market for a year or more. The price shown is for one of the liens against the property. If you would like information on homes on the market in your area send an email. You will get listings with all the pictures. ... more

Public Records for 6231 Cavell Ave NOfficial property, sales, and tax information from county (public) records as of 06/2012:

If you read the page this section lets you know that you are looking at public records not a listing. THERE MUST BE A MLS# FOR IT TO BE CONSIDERED A LISTING.

Happy House Hunting!

Many times the status does not change on websites like Trulia (we have to do it manually and almost no realtor does). My guess is that the realtor is telling you the truth if he is the listing agent.

Just FYI $1300/month can get you a really decent home up in Brooklyn Park buying wise. That is for sure an area where rent prices are higher than home values.

Good luck on your search!

It is a Short Sale and went Pending within 5 days, which by the way is normal for this price point right now. It will be trashed inside, because Brooklyn Park is very similar to Coon Rapids, Blaine, Champlin, & Anoka. I should know because I work all of these areas and Splits are my specialty from an investor standpoint. Once you have been in over a 100 homes with an investor in Brooklyn Park like me you get a good idea of what the inside will look like without the pictures just by price.

You won't find anything FHA under 100k, and if you are conventional you are wasting your time looking on Trulia for this price point. That goes ditto for the other question I answered for you in Coon Rapids. It is nuts right now with both investors and retail buyers, but there frequently will be multiple offers within the first week.

If you want I can send you properties that only are AVAILABLE and have not gotten offers on them. Just contact me directly through trulia!

My associate, Mr Block, is right. May I ask why you do not or appear not to have a real estate agent? You need an agent, a representative pledged to represent you as a renter...think about it. Why would you avoid having such a resource to protect your interests? Liz 612-986-4105 ... more

As far as I know, this home is offered for sale. I do not think they are interested in renting it at this time. If you want a rental in Brooklyn Park, I will be happy to find you one right for your family. Liz, 612-986-4105

PS I have been very successful finding rentals in Brooklyn Park...I rented two last week.

Hi, Patrickstewart2!
I love when we see people who want to know more about the history of the home their living in. I'm somewhat partial to older homes myself, and I really value the historic aspects of older architecture.

My colleagues are right here. Some info will be available via the county that tells you who owned the property before you. But, the rest is going to be word of mouth stories from neighbors, relatives, etc. Maybe you'll get lucky and find some of the people who owned before you and you'll be able to ask them!

Good luck with this. And, let us know how it works out for you. We are always up for learning more.

It looks like it is already Sold. Have your agent contact the listing agent to verify this.
