As much as you think it is worth! Compare with others that are similar in the same park. Most 30 year old homes have had renovations but if the carpet is stained from animals and the window cranks dont work, then you need to either have these items fixed before you buy or you can reduce your price by what it will take you to fix. And if you dont like it, then look elsewhere. ... more

I own a house in Rotonda West. It is 3 bedrooms and 31/2 baths. It does have a small pool with a lanai. It is brand new as of 10/15. Rotunda West is a very nice small community with regulations to keep it clean. The house is close to a state park, golf courses, and 7 miles to a couple of great beaches. ... more

Furnished rentals in Bradenton are typically condos. Most condo communities do not allow tenants to have pets. It will be difficult for you to find a pet friendly furnished rental. My other thought is that furnished rentals are usually used as seasonal (winter) rentals so it will be very difficult to find a furnished rental that allows pets and will let you stay a full 12 month period (most furnished rentals are booked for the winter months up to 2 years in advance).

However, there are a number of apartment complexes that are pet friendly. Used furniture is plentiful in the Bradenton area, at reasonable cost. You may have better luck trying unfurnished options and then just buy a few inexpensive household furnishings to get by with.

I've lived in this area for over 30 years (the past 10 in Bradenton), listing and selling real estate for over 16 years, so if you have any specific questions about the area you can contact me thru my website below.

Boy, I hate to break it to you my friend but I dont believe that animal exists. Especially if you are shopping for a place during season.
You might get lucky looking at for rent by owner in classified ads of Bradenton Herald (online) or a FRBO website which is a for rent by owner but be careful of scammers. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Sorry - I know that wasnt much help. :(

Nope and I'm glad I don't. I would have an issue with a sex offender living in my area. Go find a trailer in the woods to live in far away from others.

I have been searching the seasonal rentals for this same time period for some customers of mine that have 2 small dogs and sorry to say, the options are very limited. February and March are the most popular months for seasonal rentals and many places are already booked for 2015. Trying to find a rental that allows 2 small pets is even more difficult. I found 2 rental listings in the Venice area that accept pets, you can find them on the public version of our MLS at

Good luck with your search.
