Hello! It is always good to talk to a lender and get pre-approved prior to looking at homes. They will let you know what kind of property you should be looking at as far as price point goes as well as what type of loan you would be approved for. (Some properties only accept certain loan types). A typical pre-approval is good for 90 days. Hope this helps you! ... more
