Is your home listed for sale?? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. Trulia is just a marketing website that pulls data from various sources, such as MLSs and public records. The data here isn't always accurate. It's possible the data is coming from an old MLS listing OR your county assessor's office. So...if you go to the source of the incorrect could be opening up a can of worms. By correcting the info with your county assessor's office....guess what....they'll reward you with HIGHER TAXES!!!! And if the inaccuracies are due to unpermitted work done -- i.e. you finished a basement without permits....then you'll get to pull permits, and have inspectors come out and check out the work....and they'll possibly fine you....and possibly require you to rebuild according to city code...and get a certificate of occupancy. All that just to correct some numbers on a stupid website. Think about it.

Honestly... if you're not selling your home, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi Ernest,

Thank you for the clarification about your question. The main website link that is shown on the listing page references the web site that sends the listing information to us. If your agent is a Trulia Pro subscriber, he/she would have the ability to edit this field, however otherwise that is selected automatically.

Laura is correct that the link in question can be added to the listing description, however it will not be a hyperlink that interested buyers can easily click on to view the website.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Best Wishes,
