I see nothing listed in the MLS currently for sale in that complex, however that doesn't mean that it isn't for sale by owner. I did look at some past listings for units in that complex and it seems all I saw have a master bath, and another full bath for 2 baths as you stated. Why the Trulia listing does not have this, I don’t' know. It would be up to each homeowner to claim their property and edit the information.
My office is right down the street from Brannon Honda and I'd love to talk to you about your home search and see what I could do to help get you into your next home. Call, Text, or Email at your convenience!

YES! You can not be disqualified for a loan if you've ever had a foreclosure, however, you must wait 2-3 years AFTER the foreclosure date to apply.

Below is the link to a blog post I made about this issue. You're not the only person who is uncertain about how to be pre-approved for a home loan. Please read it and let me know if you have any questions. http://www.trulia.com/blog/isiah_youngblood/2012/04/getting_approved_for_an_fha_loan_with_bad_credit

If you're not already working with a Realtor, I am in Birmingham, AL and would be happy to work with you and further assist you with any real estate needs or questions you have!
Good luck!!

Mike,

I just found this questin and answer thread from the past. Birmingham AL is full of foreclosures that fit the 3 bed 1 bath description. If you have already invested in Birmingham and found success, we would like for you to continue to grow your investments here. I have many listings through out the more distressed neighborhoods and receive phone calls every week from would be renters who see my signs. These signs are for selling the property, not renting.

Many people qualify for Section 8 benefits here and as Fabien stated below, those rental prices are common here.

Thank you.

My name is Barry Lynn Miller with Realty Executives Complete and my listing team consist of 2 Mega Listing agents Nancy Locklar and Barry Lynn Miller one assistant and 3 buyers agents. Why would you hire 1 agent with limited listings and no exposure -when you can hire 5-6 for the same price or less we are always running great listing specials.

So be sure to interview 3 and make sure they have at minimum 15-20 listings
