You may have seen the segment on the Today Show...? Biddleville is an up and coming neighborhood just west of Center City. You can see the skyline from this pocket on the hill. It has lots of bungalows and cottages built from the 1930's to the 1950's. The streets wind around small pockets of little businesses (that are still getting a foot hold...or old timers hang outs)... There is also Charlotte's historic Johnson C. Smith University pulsing the community. Prices vary from around $100,000 for a fixer upper (there are lots of neglected long term rentals) to over $250,000 and up for renovated or well kept homes. If you have a little bit of urban pioneer in your spirit and want a great investment... this may be the spot. ... more

There are currently 16 single family homes for sales in Biddlesville. One of them is new construction due to be completed end of May 2008 - 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1452 Sq. Ft. listed at $275,000 MLS 727779. There is also a home which was built in 2000 - 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1296 Sq. Ft. listed at $249,900 MLS 716506. The other 14 homes were built between 1900 and 1970. There are two lots for sale between $120,000 to $125,000.
