Then you'll know what's going on, and ask 'what they are specifically looking for from you or what are they wanting to see' to approve this loan. Then you might be able to be pro-active in understanding from the underwriters point of view on what you should do next.

Cancelling the PA is not going to get you into a home any sooner. You'll have to start the process all over again.

The Portside Village litigation has been settled and the Builders (lost) are going through a massive construction to Raise the foundation in order to avoid from sinking any further. The current owners are going through a relocation or the ordeal of getting construction done off and on to fix the problem.

Hopefully your offer was subject to the appraisal. Most are when getting a loan. I always put than in even if there is no loan contingency. Now, you can have your Realtor do an addendum to match the appraisal price. Everyone sign it & the sellers agent submit it to the sellers bank with a copy of the appraisal. I've done this very thing successfully. Once they see that, they are usually pretty reasonable. Although it does depend on the bank & all other considerations. Hope this helps. Did you ever get an answer to this question on Cambride Highlands? I asked my Broker, who was listing all the new sales, the same question this Summer. I didn't get a definate answer myself, but she did say the limit of renters allowed wasn't reached. If you are still interested, I would be happy to try to find out from the homeowners association.
