Yes there is an active track,but not very active..very slow moving cargo rail,Ive been here for two years and I think I have only seen about 5 trains all moving slow and just cargo and not very long either.... more
The market is actually doing better. We saw a slight increase in it last year and I have seen an even bigger increase this year. It will depend on how much you paid for the home and if there are forclosures or short sales that have sold recently in your neighborhood that could drag your value down as to whether or not you will loose money on your home. The area around 1000 Johns Avenue is an older subdivision. Most of the homes were built in the 60's. 3 to 4 bedroom mostly brick ranch style homes. They are mostly well kept and well maintained. I am familiar with the listing at 1000 Johns Avenue. It is listed as a highly distressed property, And that is reflected in the listing price. National Association of Realtors is offering their member Realtors a new, much more accurate automated valuation website for real estate called Realtors Property Resource. It is similar to Trulia in how it works, but because it pulls data from more timely and accurate sources, the value prediction is much more accurate. It also provides a ton of historical data on the subject property along with a ton of neighborhood demographics of the subject's neighborhood.
