The communities abutting Hanscom AFB are all in need of single family inventory. To compound the difficulty of your situation, new construction enjoys constant high demand in these communities. An isolated opportunity for a 4-5 year lease of an upper-end new/newer construction may be possible, however, developers are primarily interested in getting their investment out and working on their next profit making project. They can't force you to close the card, but they can withhold the loan if you don't. Every lender has their own formulae for lending, and clearly the lender you're dealing with isn't okay with you having that "open line of credit" once you've taken on this new debit. ... more
