if you are a good old boy lving here a long time you are sitting pretty, move in and they gouge you to the limit, taxes were 1000 before we moved in, doubled and raised them to 2000 first year , this year they raised them again to 3000, we have no county services as we are 20 miles from town but we get to pay for all the good old boys . No sir there is not water available in La Reata Ranch. You would need to drill a well along with a good water filtration system. I have several new construction clients a year that build and have been threw the process every time. The area is by far my favorite in the Bastrop County area. The lots are typically 5acres with mixed trees and wet weather creeks along with some of the most beautiful wildlife you have ever seen. Please feel free to call with any questions about the subdivision and procedures on permits ect.
