They remove the photos after a home is closed.
Sometimes it's hard to initially see the difference of a public record snapshot and a home that is actually for sale. People are always giving me unlisted homes to investigate.
Fortunately, photos of the inside of all of our residences are not online, at least not that we all know of {;-)
If you were to roughly describe what you may be wanting to view in the way of your next home, a Realtor like me could send you the homes with up to 25 pictures each, directly from the most accurate and up to date source. We could also update the list daily or send you closed sales like yours so you compare your own to them. The Realtor MLS is what feeds all the Internet sites, but the accuracy and currency goes downhill after it leaves the Realtor MLS site.
Trulia is a little like WEBMD, generally good initial info, but sometimes it is best to consult a professional. We are hear to help, with no obligation on your part.

I wish trulia wouldnt post this, not listed property, similar to realty trac posting homes not for sale and in early stage of pending foreclosure. Here is a link to the different types of homestead exemptions available in Illinois

To calculate the dollar amount, take the amount of the exemption and multiply it times the tax rate. For example, in Lake County, if the exemption (called Limited Homestead for owner occupied) is $6,000 and the tax rate is 6.747 then you multiple $6,000 x .06747 and you would get $404.82. This would be the amount that you save having the the homeowner exemption compared to not having it.

The 5400 sq. ft does not include the basement.
And it says on the listing sheet builder will finish the basement. According to the tx records total sq. feet is approx 8400.

This "listing" appears to be fake. There's no such listing and when you follow the link it brings you to a website of an agent that does not exist. Don't contact the person as this might be a dangerous scam.
The house on the picture is a million dollar property and the $249,000 price is irrelevant. Apparently it's just used as a bait.

I just sold one in Barrington that I think was about 80,000 below market....

It will be tricky to time the lowest point as you will not know it until figures are reported by the all-knowing press that the housing market has recovered. By then the best selection and lowest prices will be a fond memory for buyers and the end of a low point for sellers. 30% off the peak prices is about what you may see on some homes right now.
Rates just went up a little again. I have sold 2 homes this year and am seeing more activity recently.
Certain towns will always have a strong draw, like Barrington and Schaumburg with their great school districts.

Hi Sheryl, This complex is approx 20 years old. The monthly assessment includes common insurance, exterior maintenance, lawn care & snow removal This particular unit is still available as well as 8 others in the complex ranging from $$369 to $559. The 2 month surcharge is an upfront fee paid to the association prior to move in. The seller is offering to pay this at closing on this unit and some of the other units as well. They also have a similar surcharge for the Lake Barrington Shores complex. This is typically a non-refundable charge. The builder for this complex was Pepper Construction.
