you need to talk to a local handyman/contractor to get estimates - ask your agent for a referral.

be mindful of your contract deadlines, the first thing you may need to do is get an extension on the inspection period.

you can also ask the seller to repair or provide you with a credit to cover the repair costs.

I think it is better to have a bigger master bedroom then to have that extra room! Once again considering you still have 4 other bedrooms available I think it is safe to say the house has plenty of room!

Buyers like nice sized rooms in general, bigger is always better!

As far as your question pertaining to price per square foot. It ranges from $130 to $240..average around $200.... but there are many factors that determine this. Hello, In answering your question about FICO scores for a short sale. The average score is impacted about 50 points as opposed to foreclosure which will lower one's FICO score by about 200 points!! The Promissory note is a formality but acording to local Attorneys in this area they have not seen this enforced in Rockland County at this time. May be late but hope this helps.
