1- you are looking at condos...most wont have bonus rooms..like 99% wont, 2-most wont have garages(this one does not)...more townhomes have them, every once in a while...condo complexes may offer a few..but not all units will come will come with one...and as stated below 3-hoa's 190..a month.
If you need any other help...

employment is not the problem, there are ALWAYS jobs in that area. the problem is people trying to live beyond what they can afford. Commute times can be anywhere from 30min to an hour. I just married and now live in Ballantyne...my job is still in fort mill sc so I only commute about 20minutes (with good traffic) to work. my husband on the other hand works in rock hill sc and he commutes a little over 30 minutes. Ballantyne is a good area to live in if you can afford it because its really in the middle of everywhere. ... more

Try Hunter Oaks off of Rea Rd. It is a Union County location but you are really living in Ballantyne. Marvin Ridge Schools are excellent and the High School is one if not the best in the state with a 99.9% graduation rate.

Good Luck!

Brittany,

The Mckee area is a good area as well, you actually may be able to get more for your money there rather than the Ballantyne area.

Patricia,

there was one duplex that sold in the past two years on that street. The listing agent had it priced at $157500 and sold it for $150,000 in November 2011. In that area there is one that is on the market for $109900 and another one for $399900.

You are goign to get a variety fo price points depending on what you are looking to buy or sell. The one that sold was 3 bedrooms on each side. The lower priced of the two currently in that area on the market for $109900 has only 2 bedrooms per side. The other one priced at $399,900 is a 8 unit place.

This will give you soem idea but you do have to adjust for bedrooms, bathrooms, size, units and other variables. It is best to discuss your needs with a Realtor who knows the market and can give you some guidance as to pricing for buying or selling a multi family.

Feel free to either e-mail me at ddicecco@cbunited.com or call me at 704-519-7895.

Hey Tara,

Looks like it is a very very safe neighborhood. Scroll down a bit on the listing and click on the tab that says "Crimes," you'll see the area is very safe with very few crimes.

Cheers,
