Hey there Ben,

Has anyone been able to help you with your question? If not, I once again agree with Mike Wald (the answer below) that it is probably in your best interest to search sites like,, Trulia, Zillow, etc... and then contact the agent listing directly of the the properties that you like. Mike and I have had the same opinion on multiple questions like this, and trust me this is what is in your best interest. The listing agents on those rentals will be able to help you the most. Otherwise you will have to contact a realtor to help you which is not always a great move when looking to rent a property. They just don't make much money on the deal and they are usually pretty easy to get on your own.

If you have any questions that I can answer for you regarding rentals, purchasing, etc... please give me a shout. I would love to be a resource for you if need be.

I own a real estate team here in Orlando, FL that can assist you with any real estate need that you might have. Remember, it does not cost you a dime to ask us questions, to help you buy a home, or to give you an evaluation on your current home… so take advantage of us! We are ready to help when you are.

Good luck

Go to (see Resources). Scroll to the "Homes" tab. Double click the "HUD Homes" tab. The HUD website is an authority on Section 8 properties. The site provides step-by-step instruction as well as an online tool box that includes handbooks and forms, program information, and webcasts.
Find a housing counselor by clicking the "Housing Counselor" tab. The housing counselor feature will allow you to search the housing options available in your city and state. Once you contact a housing counselor, he can provide information about HUD communities in your area. This way you will have all of the areas in front of you and no guess work. Good Luck!
