But since you asked, here's an answer: Crystal Gardens residents may also like housing in Cary or Raleigh, North Carolina. Or Fredericksburg or Fairfax, Virginia.

I would echo what Bill stated. These situations are typically arranged in favor of the HOA by virtue of the by laws that you agreed to when you moved into the neighborhood. Many homeowners never give a second thought to what their hoa actually does until they have a run in with them in the form of a DRV or what they feel are excessive dues.

The thing to do is to starting contacting the other parties involved and asking questions. Read through the by laws that govern your community and if worse comes to worse you can escalate things by hiring an attorney that specialized in hoa law.

Keep a log of events -- not only disturbances but your correspondence with the owner, tenant, HOA, etc. Also take photos of the common areas so you can demonstrate extent of damage.
