I'm not sure I understand your question. Leasing a place and renting it out is the same thing. If it's the same place and they signed a lease agreement with you and in turn leased it also to someone else it may be covered under criminal statue. At least up north this would fit one of our statues and a charge could be filed along with a civil suit. If you have a lease agreement and this is the case check with local police they may have a similar statue, if not they will tell you it's a civil matter but have them document it as a matter of record in their cad system. ... more
