I would ask your realtor to work with the seller's realtor and do an amendment to extend closing. They are probably just mad because they cannot close on their home. Seller will need to extend their closing on their buy side. Let them calm down and ask your realtor to work with the other realtor to bring this together. Notify seller what your lender said. At this moment it's at everyone's best interest to work this through. If the seller's home is back on the market they won't be able to close until a month later so it's at their best interest to wait a few more days.
