I would not. Hiring a good agent who can work for you can save you far more money then just collecting a small commission off what you buy. By becoming licensed, you open yourself up to liability and add a great deal of disclosure. ... more

Hi David,
I've used a lot of the companies listed below, but have not been satisfied. Either too difficult, too costly, or just not friendly.
Last year I switched to TenantMagic and have to say I am much more satisfied. Actually designed for landlords like you and me.
Free to use, excellent customer service (I called number listed and got in touch with owner in seconds), and much simpler than anything I've used before.
Best tenant screening company is TenantMagic.

Darby,

It looks like it will be hard to find a rental property with your evictions, credit, and 4 dogs. Landlords are very picky and many limits the amount of pets a tenant can have in the property. You may want to pick up the phone and call a local realtor to discuss what you are looking for. My thought is for your to work on improving your credit score and then purchase a home. ... more

Hello,

We’re excited you’re using Trulia for your home search process. We are a real estate search engine so we don't represent the homes found on our site. Please follow these steps to begin your home search:

1. Click the "Rent' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Click 'More Filters'.
5. Select your preferred property type, square footage, etc.
6. Click the red 'Apply' button.

This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a listing, click on the "Contact the agent" button to get in touch with a real estate professional in your area. You can also take advantage of our vast network of agents here:
