Report it. There is a huge problem with dishonest people stealing the photos from other sites then posting them on Trulia. Flag it before someone gets ripped off!

The best way would be to go the Texas DPS website and run a search. You can also locate all types of crime searches via Google. The state also maintains info on sexual predators. I recommend Texas DPS. here is a link. ... more

Depends what you consider to be affordable. Have you spoken with a mortgage broker yet to get pre-approved so you can come up with a budget? That would be the first step. With rising values in the market the median price keeps rising so with out having a budget it would be hard to advise you. The under $150k market is almost non existent. ... more

While the question is not worded that well, its intention is pretty easy to figure out.

The East End part of Austin is in the 78741 ZIP code. It is in the general vicinity of S. Pleasant Valley and East Riverside. The exact address is 1600 Wickersham Lane.

This ZIP code did not make the top 4 crime ridden ZIP codes in the Austin area, according to a March 2014 news report.

However, the area does have crime. I suggest you go to a website like, plug in the address 1600 Wickersham Land 78741 and decide for yourself.

I know this apartment complex and it is very nice as is the area. It is a safe part of town and there are some great places to eat, shop and hang out over there. I would be happy to help you with your search and actually grew up in this part of town. My services would be free to you, of course.

Let me know if you'd like my assistance.

This is the highest crime zip code in ALL of Austin! Across the street from the Timber Ridge condo's, which are nice, is HORRIBLE housing crammed full of people that come and go, trash in the front yards. Frequent break-ins in the Timber Ridge condos. The neighbors at Timber Ridge are nice, but the neighborhood is full of drugs, illegal immigrants and is very high crime.
My mother owns a condo here, as do I, but I will NOT let my single daugher live in either one. Too bad, because it is close to everything....
