I have to ask, but why would you do all their hard work for pennies on the dollar. If they will not make you part of their team. I would generate my own leads and convince them to go with me, not another agent who is paying me 20% for the hard part of it. After referrals, i generate the most of my leads through my Active Rain blog, you can sign up free using the link below. On a different note if you are part time and just want to get leads, find an agent who will put you on their team and pay you fairly. ... more

Hi Mallorie,
I just returned from Atlanta. I've been licensed in Florida since 2004. I am now with Keller Williams Luxury Home International and a Keller Williams Global Property Specialist. I wasted the first 8 years of my career with several small local brokerages and one other national franchise before coming to KW. KW has the best training in the industry. My daughter is joining me 1/17. I recommend that you do interview with several KW offices (not necessarily the one closest to your home unless that is most important to you). We have 5,600 KW agents in the greater Tampa Bay/Sarasota area. You should attend a team meeting if you can and try to talk with some of the agents. Check out the energy. Find out about their profit sharing program and monthly fees.

I wish you all the best in your new career!

Yes, possibly we can help. We live in Gwinnett County in Stone Mountain and our house is now too big since family moved out to college, etc. Would client be interested in renting part of our home for 30 to 60 days? It is private and comfortable and we respect their privacy. In addition, they would be well prayed for, especially during their time of grief. For more information, please call: 770-879-0188 and if we are unable to answer, we will call back. Feel free to leave a message. Thanks. Emily and Joseph ... more

Yes, I've found broker open houses to be very effective for gaining exposure and buzz around a property - especially for a short sale property. It gives the listing agent a chance to speak to the various issues and convey good information about any insights they received from the lender on what value they've placed on the property. I also recommend doing broker open houses when there has been a drastic price reduction. Tom Hinz ... more

Hi Charmaine,

My name is Raquel and I am an agent with Keller Williams in Roswell. Check out your local Keller Williams Broker. Keller Williams teams have great training programs and if you are with a great office they have great support for new agents. Tons of classes and systems to help you start your business off and run and maintain it like a business.

I used them on my last sell and what a joke. Poor, rude and extremely unprofessional to say the least. They also keep your credit card on file and run it for every communication with them!!!

Worst online broker experience I have ever had. You have been warned.
