Hi Walker,

Can you give a bit more detail about what you are looking for? How many bedrooms, approximate square footage, do you prefer colonials or split level?

During rush hours don't take 53 but side street Arlington Heights. It will take you 20 minutes.

The school boundaries are a bit mixed up in Arlington Heights. A St. James student could graduate and go to Prospect High School, Hersey High School or to St. Viators, a boys and girls Catholic education school. Make sure that when you talk to the High School, you tell them your address. I knew a previous client who was 1 or 2 houses away from the border of one school to another. So be specific with your phone calls to the schools. That's my advice.

I have heard recently that there are scholorships to St. Viators for families looking for a break with the tuition, as you will find at St. James School. It's worth exploring all your options.

Hi Clyde,

You may find the information you are seeking by checking out the school reports as well. Arlington Heights Schools do publish demographics for you to find. Or better yet, visit the City Hall and ask questions from the business manager. Finding a new community can be tough, but there is an excellent library in Arlington Heights, where they have a resource room. Hope that leads you to the answer of your question.
