The best way to look for rentals is on Craigs list. Every rental is pretty much there, including those listed on the NWMLS.

Good luck to you in any case,

Linda, I agree with Gale. you want to work with an agent & get pre approved with a lender prior to even looking at homes. I can do both or either for you.

I would suggest, that as a buyer, you Google every agent that responds to your question here on Trulia, learn as much as you can about who they are online, read their client testimonials, so you know what their clients are saying about them, and then give us each a call and just ask us why we think you should work with us instead of another agent. This will take you a little while to do, but will be time well spent, as choosing the right agent is the first step towards choosing the right home. Then, pick the best fit for you and let them go to work for you with the skill and knowledge that they have. I hope to hear from you soon.

Good luck, Jirius Isaac

Most third party websites, like Trulia, have no control of the number of images provided by the listing agent to the NWMLS. Also, the NWMLS limits the amount of info (property descriptions) to 500 characters so that is another reason why the limited information online. ... more

The property was on the market as a HUD owned home & went pending inspection on 10/28/11. If you are looking for homes on your own, it will happen a lot that you do not find out about them until it is too late. If you do not already have an agent, you should get one as it costs you nothing. Call me if you want & we can decide if we want to work together. Otherwise, good luck. 206-841-9976

Kathy,
I can help you with this if you want help. I do not know if you understand, but first of all there is only a 33% chance that this home, whichever it is, will actually go to auction & you will not know until you go to the courthouse in Everett to the auction and see. Then there is the fact that you have to have cash on the spot. If you do not have cash, I can hook you up with some people who do, but they will charge you. And remember, you do not get to inspect this home at all before you buy it. No matter what shape it is in, it is all yours. And you are bidding against professional investors that have gobbs of money.

If you still want to try this, or if you want to look for something a little safer, please get in touch with me & I would be happy to help you. If not me, then you should get hooked up with another agent so you are not trying to do this alone. Good luck to you if I do not hear from you.

Jirius Isaac answered:
This home is off the market because the listing agent thought it was too much trouble to deal with. The property has wetlands & is generally wet. The floor & foundation have rot in them. It will be impossible to get a loan on this in an "as is" condition. If you are still interested, call me on my cell phone number at 206-841-9976 & I will be happy to help you look at/buy it. If you want to look at some other properties, I can help you with that as well. ... more

It didn't take long to find out that this property is 1.45 acres. The address is 17303 Russian Rd. The deed to the property has not been recorded yet, so the tax records still show it as owned by the resident. Recording the deed in the banks name could take as long as a month. As Dan indicated below, as soon as the bank has assigned the property to an agent to list, it will be coming on the market. I should add that some banks are holding onto property for periods of time before listing them. What determines when the property is listed is dependent upon the condition of the property, how much property the investor owns and how quickly they want it disposed of. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me. ... more

Ramona Lussier answered:
Hi, Thank you for your interest in this waterfront listing. The property is located along a river but I have no background information if that area floods. That is something you'll want to look up with the county or local residents of the neighborhood. THe price is low because it is a Foreclosure property and they tend to be lowered priced than other homes so that they don't sit on the market for too long.

It looks like the auction date was on February 6, 2009 according to the link you have with your question. I would be surprised if it actually went for the price, if it was auctioned off it probably sold for quite a bit more.
