If you are referring to condo's as residences that are "one floor", the supply is limited - particularly waterfront. If you are referring to town homes which are multiple floors, the selection is a little bit greater. Waterfront remains the most desirable. In Ruskin you will find the best value for waterfront town homes. For viewing, please visit my website at: www.littleharborwaterfront.com. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them for you.
Curious why you think it may be in foreclosure... If you are thinking of renting from the owners, make sure to verify they have equity in the house and that ALL owners sign the lease agreement. You can verify current ownership by entering an address on the upper left of this website:

This waterfront lot owned by Sabal Homes of Florida has been listed in MLS for awhile. It is currently under contract and scheduled to close by the 15th of May. It should be showing pending. Price had also been increased due to the fact that there are virtually no waterfront, dockable lots available in Mirabay at this time.
According to the MLS, the last time this property was on the market was in 2006. Why it is showing up now is beyond me. If you are looking for houses in the Apollo Beach area or for houses on the water in general I will be happy to send you current listings. I live and work in the Apollo Beach area and grew up here so I know the TAmpa Bay area very well.... more
Be VERY careful when renting outside a complex. There are many owners renting out properties that are in pre-foreclosure. You need to verify the owner and should ask for proof they are current with mortgage and HOA payments. Otherwise you may have difficulty getting your deposit back, having repairs done and eventually the landlord may put it up for a short sale. Then you will have to allow realtors to show with minimal notice. Not fun!
So go live in an apartment until you are ready to buy.... more
When banks foreclose on homes, they list them with a Realtor who puts them in the Mulitple Listing Service. Realty Trac does not have any "secret information"...so don't pay them! Find a good agent who will help you,
one who knows the area. The seller (in this case the bank) pays your agent commission for the sale, so you get their service for free! how cool is that?
This home is currently listed for $194,900 and has been on the market for 64 days. I would be happy to show it to you. I work in Apollo Beach and specialize in waterfront properties. Just call me at (813) 390-7606 and I will be happy to set up a showing.... more

Realtor Bonnie is correct, you cannot buy a $200k property for $1k or even $100k.
Contact Bonnie if you want to live in the Apollo Beach area and I'm sure she can find a great home for you!
Also if you're a first time homebuyer, you may be eligible to get up to $7,500 from the State of Florida Bond money. You MUST work with an approved lender on their list so I would start here to see if you qualify:
