It is very difficult, next to impossible, to find an apartment that is available without any deposit. Even low deposit. Too many renters are irresponsible and thrash the property. Savvy landlords will always charge a deposit. If you are just looking for a room, and not an actual apartment you can probably find someone willing to rent to you month-to-month with little or no deposit, though having good references never hurts. ... more
