The City of Ann Arbor Police Department currently offers two ways that citizens can find out crime information in a speedy manner.

(Taken from A2.Gov) Citizens can receive crime alerts by either:

Signing up for an e-mail subscription to receive crime alert communications, which you can do by clicking here.
Subscribing to to receive crime alerts when new crimes occur near a specific address. To sign up for crime alert e-mails, click here.

Yes, $190/month. This is a very unique condo in the Ann Arbor area. It's very environmentally conscious, has many "group" activities for residents and children, and even sells organic/unpasteurized farm products periodically in the clubhouse. Let me know if you'd like any more specific information.

I suggest that you get it from the horses mouth. No, don't go visiting criminals in jail, try the Ann Arbor Police. Their phone number is 734/ 944-2875.
How soon are you moving to Ann Arbor? If you have time I suggest subscribing to the Ann Arbor Observer. They are a monthly periodical that contains a great looking map of reported crime every issue and it compares with the prior year.
They might have archives for overlays... (?) .
Good luck and let me know what you find.
