Hi Gina
You have quite a complex issue here

I would suggest consulting with an Elder Attorney and a Real Estate Attorney first before doing anything

Your caseworker is not schooled in Real Estate Law or Elder Law

Transferring funds directly to a sellers account is not a good idea in any case as the funds will need to be presented to the title company to transfer the property

Good Luck

Trulia is an excellent advertising site. We love it! It is super user friendly. It is not perfect though. It is an advertising site which pulls information from the MLS. As per the Pocono Mountain Association of Realtors multiple listing service 221 homes have sold in Albrightsville in 2014. Feel free to contact me directly to help you with a comparable market analysis. We are here to help! ... more

Please let me know if I can help you with listing or buying a lot in Indian Mountain Lakes. Please note these numbers were posted 1/4/2015. Prices change with the market. ... more

Only a MA attorney may be able to answer that for you. Gather up your paperwork and see a local RE lawyer. They can review your paperwork and see if you have a case but time matters,

That is an incredible story! And because your pursuit in your client's
interest was perceived as the cause of all the nasty HOA communications,
your client took your listing away!!!

I don't imagine you were compensated for all your time and effort either.

I have 2 condo listings right now - no problems whatsoever.

Did you occupy the property? If not you would have a good case and I would do as previously suggested contact an attorney.

Good Luck

Did you purchase title insurance when you bought the home? If so, that's exactly what title insurance is for. We're in a tricky time right now, and I'm sure you're reading lots of stories in the media about illegally foreclosed homes. In reality, experts say that only a very small percentage may be in the "illegal" category. Don't panic! ... more

Ask your agent to find out if a negotiator bee assigned.
It really should not be much longer. If you are want to look at other homes in case this one does not happen I would avoid other short sales and it depends on what is available in your search criteria. It also depends on how much you like this home.

As long as the seller is communicating with the bank and as long as your Realtor has good communication with the listing agent it could all work out.

One other thing to consider. Does the listing agent have a good record for completing short sales?
