I think looking for a company that has great raining is very important. I would shy away from desk fees and monthly fees. You don't have any experience yet and it will take a while before you know how to bring in business. Those companies tend to be better for more seasoned agents.
Since hardly any agent start with sales, I would interview with CitiHabitats. Not only they offer great training, they have also the largest data bank with rentals and you learn the business there the right way.

The most important thing for a new agent is training, find out what is offered. Also understand that you will need to do a ton of training on your own afterall you will be an independent contractor. Commission split and desk fees are irrelevant at this stage of your career. Kisia, you'll need to walk before you attempt to run otherwise you'll be setting yourself up for some major disappointment financially and emotionally.
