If you are applying for licensure by endorsement (have and active license in another state) then you may not need to take the 40 hour pre-licensing course.

If you hold a license in any of the following states you will need to take the 40 hour pre-licensing course because the following states are not equivalent to Vermont.

Massachusetts
Colorado
Minnesota
North Carolina
Oregon
Puerto Rico
Rhode Island
South Dakota
Virgin Islands
Wisconsin

Thank you Cristyle, I just got my license less than a year ago but now I may have to move and I really don't want to have to take the pre-licensing and test all over again. I'll get in touch with the commission.
Thank you again,
Brian
