The age old question is --> when?? But that's one that might be better answered by Mr. Rovello at iMapp.

Stephanie,

Not sure I am understanding your questions, but isn't the comparable button at the top the recent sales comparisons that you are looking for?

Here is the notice received today. I am wondering about the comment that IMAPP service will be based on an advertising supported business model.??

IMAPP and ARMLS® CEO Bob Bemis

Effective February 23, 2012, ARMLS and IMAPP signed a mutual Letter of Intent to provide all ARMLS Subscribers access to IMAPP’s Tax Service product. Once a formal contract is executed and custom programming is completed, Subscribers will be able to choose either IMAPP or Realist as their tax service inside flexmls. The IMAPP service will be based on an advertising supported business model with IMAPP retaining control of all advertising approvals.

Initially, IMAPP will be available on the Tax tab in flexmls, until custom programming can be completed to allow Subscribers to choose their preferred tax system. ARMLS will provide Subscribers specific details about the integration and timing as they become available.

The execution of the Letter of Intent by both ARMLS and IMAPP fulfills CEO Bob Bemis’ commitment to resolve the IMAPP issue before he reported to his new position in Seattle. With this negotiation now behind him, Bob will be leaving ARMLS early to assume his responsibilities with Zillow. Matthew Consalvo has been named as the interim CEO.

Hi Stephanie,

As of today, it was announced that you will be able to choose which tax system you wish to use as your default system. Good news!

I've been trying to be open about the change, but the more I'm in Realist, the less I like...I really liked how user friendly iMapp was. It's my understanding by an email today that ARMLS will allow agents to choose the program they like. Realist does have comps which appears like the CMA in Flex. I knew about the FB page to bring back iMapp, but again, was trying to give Realist a chance and be open minded :>)

Hi Stephanie,
Yes we've noticed...it's a difficult system to navigate. I really liked the comparable button.
Ever wonder who it is, doing us these great favors & changing a system that was far from broken?
There is a note on the bottom of the MLS home page that may indicate a great deal of disapproval from us Realtors. Read it and see what you think.
I for one would really like to see IMAPP come back...wouldn't you?
BTW, does this system have a quick comps app?

Stephanie just in case you may not have heard, there is a big Facebook page devoted to the AZ iMapp vs Realist issue. Also, it was announced today that an understanding has been reached and iMapp is coming back to the ARMLS.
