90% of the all-cash buyers I come in contact with are "east bound money" - from Communist China, Taiwan or Singapore.

There are five typical sources of these 'all cash' buyers.
1. Hedge funds
2. Institutional investors
3. Individual investors
4. Citizens
5. Citizens who can not be financed

As a professional, it is becoming increasingly important to READ these purchase offers and vet proof of funds. The latter is becoming increasing difficult. One may think twice when accepting an 'all cash' offer when the proof of funds letter head shows "Lighting Strikes Twice, LLC"

Hi Blanca.

These are neighbors, your co-workers, your extended family. These are people that have been saving forever for the right time to buy, so they've made the decision and jumped into the market. Some buyers were recent sellers and had strong equity in their homes when they sold.

Some borrow from family.

Great question, by the way.
