What percentage of the leads you are receiving from Trulia turn out to be serious leads?

Asked by Yanoska Diaz, Miami, FL Thu Jan 31, 2013

I made marketing on social media one of my new year's resolutions. In just 30 days I have found myself with about a dozen leads 3/4 of which, are Buyers with unrealistic expectations.

Does the percentage really matter? As long as you're getting some serious leads, shouldn't you continue your marketing approach? Or, if you really want to screen out some buyers, then make sure you're very clear on your social media materials exactly the kind of buyers you're willing to work with.

Probably like most lead generation services it probably hovers at around 20% or less. Important in the way you address the leads no matter the request as well.

Yanoska, I am a lender that helps Realtors in California market themselves by using tools that I provide them to help them double-end their listings, win more listings and find more buyers. I wish I was licensed in Florida because I would love to help you. The biggest thing to success in social media is the same formula to success in other forums. Its a numbers game and although you may find Buyer's with unrealistic dreams, analyze why are their dreams unrealistic? Is it credit? Income? Seasoning? Maybe by working with them you may convert them into Clients down the road. Keep doing what you are doing. You will find success. Look around, not very many Realtors are even on this webpage in comparison to how many Realtors are actually out there. Good luck!

I work for a direct lender headquartered in Irvine, California. Feel free to look me up at the following websites.

I've never drilled down to determine the "percentage"... suffice it to say that I receive enough serious leads to continue my participation. It's worthwhile, in my opinion.
