What is the best virtual tour company? I'm in Dallas, TX

Asked by Michelle McCormick, San Diego, CA Mon Jan 11, 2010

I haven't taken a listing in a year and half, I had all buyers, so I'm a little rusty on the virtual tour stuff. I was wondering what company other agents are using.

I'm a big fan of Tour Factory--love that the tour can be turned into a video and posted on my YouTube channel.

If you are looking for quality and flexibility, I think Virtualmedia360.net would be first choice.

Michelle,
I use Realestate Shows. This was a great question with lots of answers. Now I need to go check all the other sites and see what they have to offer. Love it when an agent gives me more work (lol).

Kindest Regards,

Hello,
I used visual tour for a while and switched to "Pre-Visite" last summer. It's worth to have a look at it.
Easy to use, no "stitching", comes with a camera and a special lense that allows 180 degres pictures.

I have been using visual tour for a while and like it. I tried switching to realbiz something but didn't find that i could use it as easily....that being said, some agents I know find realbiz easier and don't like visual tour! I think it depends on your style and what programs you feel comfortable with, especially if you are going to be doing your own tours. Find a few agents that have the programs and fiddle with them. Get a quick ojt from them and make your own test tour and see what one you like the best. visit and click on tours next to trulia agents listings and decide what look you like!

Hi Michelle,
I love Tourfactory.com. You can upload photos and use them for flyers that you can print or email. They also syndicate to all the important websites as well as Craigslist. Call them ~ they always answer their phones and they are great to work with and help you out with everything. Samples of their tours can be seen on their website. I've used them for 7 years and have never been disappointed.

Hi Michelle
I'm the founder of ListingMoves.com where we truly shine as a single online marketing platform. We allow you to input your listing information once and provide you with all the online marketing's available. What I mean by that is when you have a listing we automatically provide you with a VirtualTour, SinglePropertySite, Syndicate to the top classifiedAd sites and Click2Call for more visitor engagement. We also make that into an eFlyer that we will send to all the agents surrounding the area that you choose for an additional fee.
We are so confident about what our system can do for you that your first listing is on us minus the cost of the eFlyer which is optional. We provide you with a VirtualTour, SinglePropertySite, Syndication and adBundle along with Click2Call at no cost to you for your first listing. I look forward to developing a long term business relationship.
Warm wishes

Thank you so much to all of you for providing answers to my question. One thing that I forgot to mention is that I want to create a web domain for the property address, i.e. http://www.123anystreet.com and have the ability to link my virtual tour to that domain. Does anyone know of a company that offers this?

Thank you again for all of your help!

Hi Michelle

My company has been using a company called Obeo for a number of years now. I am pleased with their product. They take a huge number of still shots, along with at least 4 panoramic tours...lots of room for text.....background music is at no additional charge, and there is a narration option, too (extra charge for that). Consumers can also print up their own brochures - there are several options to choose from.

Call them at 1 800 SAY OBEO and check them out..or check out their website

Good luck with your new listings!!

Michelle, welcome back to the listing side! :)
The most important question really is what will your budget allow?
You can consider sites like Point2Agent.com that will create linkable tours for you...FREE!
A really good tour can be seen at :
http://www.myzoom.com/7407271
Others will show a homes floor plan with strategic locations indicating click here for video view.
Then there's the 'brew your own' tour such as this one. http://www.screencast.com/t/ZDc5YjQw
I use Point2 & 'home brew."
Another consdieration is realizing how your marketing system works. Which format allows you the greatest opportunity to leverage your budget and energy?
